School uniform is worn to encourage the development of self confidence and pride in the school and a high standard of personal appearance is expected of all students.  Uniform at Brakenhale is an important part of instilling pride and high expectations, protecting students and supporting effective teaching and learning.  Please help us to maintain standards and expectations by ensuring that your son/daughter is wearing full school uniform. Any student arriving at school in non-uniform clothing may expect to be sent home to get changed.

Our school uniform can be purchased from The Direct Clothing Company. You can order online from here:

All students in Years 7 to 11 are expected to wear the school uniform, which includes a black blazer with school logo, burgundy striped tie, formal white shirt, black trousers or skirt, optional burgundy v-necked jumper with school logo.

Our school uniform should be affordable for everyone and no-one should be excluded for financial reasons. If you have any problems obtaining uniform or if there are any issues about providing the correct school uniform please contact:

Mrs Theal, Curriculum Support Manager, on pastoral@brakenhale.co.uk or 01344 465030.
