Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium was introduced by the Government in April 2011 and is allocated to schools to work with students who have been registered for free school meals at any point in the last six years.
Schools are able to access additional funding for students who are adopted or in the Local Authority’s care. In addition to this we are given additional funds for children of service personnel.
Pupil Premium Strategy
This strategy document explains how we plan to support our Pupil Premium students at Brakenhale for the current year as well as reviewing our expenditure for the previous academic year. This will be internally reviewed throughout the year and a final review will be published at the beginning of the next academic year.
