Update 3rd May
Buidling culture and ethos, school tours, start of the exam season, athletics, Hamilton trip.
Dear Brakenhale families and community
It has been a great week of continuing to build our culture and ethos. I have thoroughly enjoyed welcoming so many of you on tours of the school in action this week. The students have also really enjoyed you visiting. If you haven't already, please do sign up over the next few weeks.
Students have had some fantastic opportunities and achievements over the last few days. Year 11s have made a brilliant start to the exam season with practical and language speaking exams taking place this week. We are very proud of Year 11 and Year 13 and wish them the best of luck for the exam season.
There have been a number of students that have successfully qualified to represent Berkshire for athletics, following the district athletics competition. A huge achievement. In addition, Performing Arts students enjoyed a trip to see Hamilton and a backstage tour.
We finished the week with a celebration breakfast for our 'students of the week' and a 'heads or tails' competition for all students as part of 'Fun Friday', which they thoroughly enjoyed.
Have a wonderful long weekend.
Kind regards
Camilla Douglas, Headteacher
