Update 26th April
Working hard, Fun Friday Doughnuts, CCF Praise
Dear Brakenhale families and community
It has been a great week at Brakenhale. We are really proud of the students. They continue to work
hard and be kind in and out of the classroom. We have recognised this in their assemblies and
thanked them with another 'Fun Friday' in the form of doughnuts.
We welcomed James Sunderland MP today, who praised the work of the school and our CCF
contingent. James visited lessons and was impressed with the progress that has been made:
“Thank you to Brakenhale School for hosting me today. It was inspiring to see the progress being
made and the obvious focus of staff and students. Brakenhale is an exemplar and I look forward to
returning later in 2024 for the bi-annual CCF inspection. Good luck to Mrs Douglas and her impressive
team with all that lies ahead.”
I look forward to welcoming parents to Brakenhale for tours over the coming weeks.
Thank you for your continued support.
Kind regards
Camilla Douglas, Headteacher
