This assembly focused on this year’s theme: "Celebrate Our Sisters", where black women were celebrated for their excellent contribution to all areas of society. Brakenhale was chosen to be involved in a live interview during the assembly where Luke in Year 7 shared that Michelle Obama was a black woman he was inspired by due to her humble beginning and her fantastic achievements.  This segment was filmed by Sky Kids programme FYI and you can watch the assembly here: https://www.youtube.com/watch
