We have celebrated some incredible highs this month with Year 7 and 8 hitting an impressive 99% and Year 11 hitting 98% attendance in the first week back after half term. To celebrate each Year group received a special visit from Mr Whippy on Friday 28.02.2025 and Monday 03.03.2025.

Mrs Douglas was spotted serving delighted students and staff with a pick of their favourite ice cream.

We had 864 - that's 96 students more than last term - students on 100% in the first week back who were keen to spend their hard earned Brakenhale Bucks in our weekly shop. Teddy bears were very popular especially in the week of Valentine’s Day.

The tutor groups with the highest attendance were 7N Ms M Emburey, 7H Ms J Harvey, 8E Mr F Vega, 11A Mrs D Smith and 11K Miss C Rendall. Our proud Heads of Year, Mr Collins, Ms Meacock and Mr Hilton all received a deserving box of Celebrations as a thank you.
