Ofsted Report 2024 | School Inspection
"There are high expecations for what pupils can achieve and most pupils are achieving well. Pupils enjoy studying a wide range of subjects throughout their time in the school and appreciate the guidance they receive as they select their options and consider their future career plans. Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and other forms of disadvantage receive additional support throughout transitions to make sure that they can reach their goals.
The school also has high expecations for how pupils should behave, and they are well supported to succeed. For example, pupils are expected to come to lessons with equipment and so the school provides spare equipment every morning for all pupils who need it. In lessons, pupils work hard, and they benefit from disruption-free learning. On the rare occasion that pupils do prevent others from learning, they are given the help they need to get it right in future. The school has a calm and orderly environment, where pupils feel safe."
Ofsted Report 2022 | Monitoring Visit
This Ofsted inspection was a monitoring, unannounced one and they therefore saw our school as it is each day; it was not graded. As you will note from the letter sent home, we have much to be proud of. Calm and orderly learning environments are crucial to great learning. Systems and structures benefit everyone; we thrive on them. Happy and safe children are keen to learn. The culture we create in our school should be one of inclusivity, and it is.
Everything we continue to do will elevate our school to excellence. Our vision is bold and deliberate: we’re a school at the heart of the community where we instil the values of aspiration, kindness and responsibility to prepare our students for their individual successes and future careers. The values of Aim High, Be Kind and Take Responsibility resonate in this letter – I am proud of this.
Ofsted Report 2019 | Full Inspection
Overall the School was graded as “Good” however, across the five categories inspected, three were graded as Outstanding. This is an incredible achievement particularly in such a short space of time. It is an absolute testament to the hard work and dedication of staff, students, parents and governors and everyone involved with the school should feel incredibly proud of the result.
Please do read the report in full as it is absolutely packed with positive comments and amazing feedback about our students.
Our journey now continues, we will never be complacent and we are always looking to improve, to be even better than we already are!
