PTA Bingo Evening: 13.6.19 Cancelled

Brakenhale’s PTA is hosting its popular Bingo Evening at the school on Thursday 13th June and we do hope that you will support us and the school and come and enjoy what is always an exciting evening.  The PTA has previously successfully raised money to purchase a school minibus and is continuing to raise money towards the next project of sustainable seating for the outside spaces in the school.

Doors will open at 6.00pm and the first game will start at 6.30pm.  The evening will finish by 9.00pm.  There will be a raffle on the night, a cash bar and tickets include a jacket potato dinner (please let us know of any special dietary requirements on the reply slip).  Tickets cost £7.50 per adult (16 and over), £5 per child (under 16) and £22 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children; entry will be by ticket only.

The letter and reply slip have been sent home to all parents via schoolcomms. If you would like to purchase tickets, please download and complete the reply slip attached, and return it and your payment to Main Reception as soon as possible, and no later than Friday 7th June.  We will also have hard copies of the letter and slip in reception for you to collect to make it easier.

We would prefer payment by cheque, made payable to The Brakenhale School, but, if payment by cash is necessary, parents should personally bring this to main reception.  The venue has a limited capacity so please book tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Half Marathon Water Station

We are looking for volunteers to help set up and for volunteers to Marshal and hand out water from 8.30/8.45am to 12.00pm. It is always a lovely community event and all students and parents would be most welcome to come along and help, it is great fun.

Easter Raffle Basket

Raffle tickets are available from Main Reception or the Head of Year Office for the Easter Basket, 50p per ticket. All proceeds go towards the fundraising for the new build project. The draw will be made on Wednesday 3rd April.

Mother’s Day Daffodil Sale

The PTA are raising funds for furniture for the new building and are holding a daffodil sale for Mother’s Day.
