Message from Headteacher

A huge thank you to all parents who helped out in any way at all towards making our Open Evening last night by far the most successful ever. Hundreds of year 6 parents came along and the feedback we received was truly outstanding. They were particularly impressed with the fantastic students who acted as guides last night and helped out in departments. Our students again proved what wonderful, capable young people they are and represented us beautifully.

I was extremely proud of them all as well as all our staff who continue to work tirelessly to ensure that all our students achieve their potential.

Have a lovely weekend.

Best wishes
Jane Coley

Please could I ask you to drive and park with due consideration for all of our neighbours in the direct vicinity of the school. It is really important to me that we maintain positive relationships with everyone in the community and it would really help if we could avoid blocking drive ways or parking in a way that makes it difficult for our neighbours to access their properties. I do understand that parents are often dropping off in a hurry and it is a congested area but your support would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
Jane Coley

The school’s new Cashless Catering system experienced some technical issues recently. During the two week period when the till transactions were not uploading to ParentPay accounts the school extended an overdraft facility to all students to ensure that no child was refused a meal due to these technical difficulties. We are now making changes to our procedures to catch up on the last two weeks transaction and manage the overdrawn accounts.

Thank you to those parents who have already cleared their child’s overdrawn balance. We really do appreciate your quick response. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience that we know these technical difficulties have caused. Please be assured we were working around the clock to rectify the issue, and we would like to thank you for your patience during this difficult period.

In order to avoid any embarrassment for students wishing to purchase meals in the dining room, could we please ask parents to check their ParentPay accounts and ensure that there are sufficient funds available if their child wishes to eat in the school’s dining room.

If you have any queries regarding ParentPay please contact Miriam Harvey on or Becky Tipper on

Parents’ Drop in Session 22/10/2015

On Thursday 22nd October, between 4.00pm and 5.00pm, there will be a drop-in session available for all parents. During this session staff will be available to help parents log in to their ParentPay, Show My Homework and Parent Portal Insight accounts. There is a suite of computers available for parents to log in to in the LRC.  If you would like to pop by to see us please come in to school via the Coningsby gate and walk across the courtyard to the LRC.

Please can we ask parents/guardians to keep an eye out for a pair of all-black Nike Roshe size 7 girls trainers that recently have gone missing. Can we also ask parents/guardians to ensure that students’ belongings are clearly labelled and named. Thank you
