I just want to make you aware of the new information which has recently been added to the NSPCC, Net Aware website; now 59 apps in total.
You may be aware that the Chief Executive of the NSPCC, Peter Wanless, is calling for social networks to be held more accountable for the content of their sites.
Under the What Parents Need to Know section you can find:
• Gaming guides which include learning how to set up parental controls on all gaming devices and strategies to manage your child’s media use.
• Article about self-harm
• Parenting for a digital future

• Apps in media
You can also sign up to their newsletter. On the right is a sample of their update, which you can also access here: http://email.nspcc.org.uk/q/13V19FxLu5NlaU0wXKvTD/wv
Search for Net Aware http://www.net-aware.org.uk/, to find the guide to the social networks your kids use.
