Parking

Please could we remind parents to collect and drop off students from our Coningsby entrance.  We also ask you to please be mindful of our neighbours.  Unfortunately we have had a few isolated issues with people parking inconsiderately in the surrounding area; more specifically we would ask you to refrain from using the Bracknell Open Learning Centre car park.  We apologise for the temporary inconvenience that our new building work is causing, but look forward to the additional benefits to the school that it will bring.

Growth Minds Set 22/06/2015

We would like to invite you to a Growth Minds Set information session on Monday 22nd June from 6.30-7.30pm led by our newly appointed Assistant Headteacher Lisa Baveystock.

The session will give an overview of and an opportunity to discuss the work of:
Carol Dweck, psychologist and lecturer at Stanford University, the power of the growth mindset
Matthew Sayed, writer and world table tennis champion (after many hours of practice)
Dr Karl Morris, golf coach who explores the power of beliefs and how they can affect you
It will also be very much based on Lisa’s own experience in teaching and our desire as a school to make a difference to the lives of our students. There are many benefits of attending the session all of them focused around giving you further ideas on how to encourage and help your child succeed whilst gaining an understanding of the power of the Growth Mindsets philosophy.
